Tomorrow I'll be out at C-Street City Market.

Not to sell anything. Not to pitch people.

Here's what I'm working on:

A simple idea —

What if the good people around here were easier to find?

Not the loudest.

Not the most advertised.

Just the ones who treat people right.

So I've started building something around that:

• A local newsletter that actually focuses on Springfield

• A live Telegram channel for real-time updates and conversation

• A system called Goodwill Marks — where people can recognize businesses that earn their trust

• Community tools and events that bring people together face-to-face

No cost to join. No gimmicks.

Because trust doesn't work if it's behind a paywall.

Down the road, local sponsors and partnerships will help fund events and open doors for small producers — farmers, bakers, craftsmen — to reach more people.

But first things first:

We build the foundation right.

If you see me at the market tomorrow, come say hello.

If not, you can still be part of it.

This only works if it belongs to all of us.

There's a bridge being rebuilt a few blocks from where I'll be standing. I think that's worth paying attention to.
