On April 30th, Moon City Dispatch officially launches. That date’s been sitting out there for a while now—but today it feels real. Close enough to touch, and close enough that there’s no more room for hesitation.
Saturday, I spent some time walking Commercial Street. If you haven’t been down there lately, you’re missing something. There’s a pulse to it—old bones, new life. History that hasn’t been forgotten, just waiting to be noticed again.
I stopped for a while in front of American Heritage and ended up in one of those conversations that reminds you why this whole thing matters. I met Matthew from Majoba Solutions, and we talked—really talked—about work, community, and what’s possible here. Not theory. Not pipe dreams. Real, practical possibilities.
That’s what Moon City Dispatch is about.
Not hype. Not noise. Not chasing headlines.
It’s about paying attention to what’s already here—people building things, solving problems, creating value in ways that don’t always make the front page. It’s about connecting those dots and telling the story straight.
We’re not fully built yet. There’s still work to do, and I won’t pretend otherwise. But the foundation is there, and the direction is clear.
April 30th.
We go live.
